Undaunted Men’s Groups

At The Undaunted Man, we offer 3 distinct levels of mens’ groups, to cater to men at most stages of their spiritual and personal journey.

Grounded Masculinity is for men who are near the beginning of their spiritual and personal development journey. These men know they want more out of life but aren’t sure yet what that entails.

Personal Mastery & Leadership is for men ready to step up as leaders and be the best they can be. These men will each commit to a big, life-changing goal that will push them out of their comfort zones and help them grow towards the man their Spiritual source (however they define that) wants them to be.

Applied Spirituality, Spiritual Seeking & Mentorship is for men who are ready to commit to a spiritual path. They want to become spiritually grounded or deepen their existing spiritual connection, and practice living in alignment with that connection.

This Group Is Right For You…

If you don’t know your purpose in life, but you’re committed to finding it….

If you’re materially successful, but you are unfulfilled or dissatisfied in other areas of your life….

If you struggle to stay grounded and/or you feel hammered by your life…

Nuts and Bolts

– Each group is facilitated and led by either Geoff Laughton or Mark Johnson, each of whom has over 20 years of experience leading mens’ groups.

– Groups meet twice per month, for 2 hours per meeting. Meetings are generally conducted via Zoom, but are in-person if all the men in the group are in the same area.

– Groups have a Marco Polo channel for regular check-ins

– Groups have a Slack channel for additional recommended readings & videos from group leaders. 

– Group leaders periodically assign certain books to support each man in his own work.

– Each group runs for 6 months.

– Total cost is $1,500 ($250/m x 6 months). You may attend two meetings free in order to feel out whether or not the group is a good fit for you and if you’re a good fit for the group.

What’s Expected Of You?

– During meetings, you will give your undivided attention to the group and whichever brother is currently doing work. Each member should silence their cell phones during the meeting. Being distracted is allowed if your house is literally on fire, otherwise discouraged. 

– Show up to every meeting on-time or 5-10 minutes early. Don’t make your brothers wait for you.

– Check in 3x/week on Marco Polo, and engage with and support your brothers’ check-ins to facilitate their personal growth.

– Read assigned books to help you grow.

– Confidentiality: whatever is said in the group is not shared outside of the group. Period. You may share whatever you wish about your own work, but the confidentiality of your brothers is an iron-clad commitment.

Expected Outcomes

If you consistently do the work, this group will help you:

– Determine and live according to your purpose.

– Become grounded and authentic. Stay centered even in the middle of a storm.

– Be comfortable as a strong, masculine man. 

– Find your own North Star, and start becoming the man that you aspire to be.

Once you’ve reached these outcomes, the work doesn’t stop. Personal development is a path with no end. But it does signal that you’re ready to progress to Personal Mastery & Leadership.

If you’re ready to take on a life-changing goal….

If you recognize that your “comfort zone” is holding you back from the life you want….

If you’ve started to subordinate your ego, and you’re ready to go deeper….

If you’re willing to be accountable, willing to charge headlong at your obstacles, and willing to take direct feedback from your brothers who are committed to helping you live your best life….

Everything in Grounded Masculinity, and:

– Each man will commit to a big, life-changing goal that will push him out of his comfort zone and help him grow towards the man his Spiritual source (however he defines that) wants him to be.

– Near daily feedback from Geoff and/or Mark on Marco Polo in order to help men overcome the obstacles.

– Total cost is $3,000 ($500/m x 6 months). You may attend two meetings free in order to feel out whether or not the group is a good fit for you and if you’re a good fit for the group.

What’s Expected of You?

Everything in the Grounded Masculinity group, and:

– Check in 5x/week on Marco Polo around your life-changing goal (progress & obstacles), and engage with and support your brothers’ check-ins to facilitate their personal growth.

– Receptivity to feedback from your brothers & the group leaders. You should be willing to receive feedback without giving voice to an egoic reaction or becoming defensive.

– A willingness to provide feedback & help your brothers to overcome their own obstacles.

Expected Outcomes

If you consistently do the work, Personal Mastery & Leadership will help you:

– Achieve a quantum leap in terms of personal development & leadership.

– Develop the grit and resilience needed to take on a life-changing goal and see it through to completion.

– Subordinate your ego.

– Cultivate a deeper connection to your Spiritual source (however you define that).

Once you’ve reached these outcomes, the work doesn’t stop. Personal development is a path with no end. But it does signal that you’re ready to progress to Applied Spirituality, Spiritual Seeking & Mentorship.

Most Personal Mastery & Leadership applicants come from a Grounded Masculinity group; however, men who have already done substantial internal work are encouraged to apply to this group even if they have not progressed through Grounded Masculinity.

– Total cost is $6,000 ($1,000/m x 6 months). You may attend two meetings free in order to feel out whether or not the group is a good fit for you and if you’re a good fit for the group.

What’s Expected Of You?

Everything in Personal Mastery & Leadership, and:

– Check in daily on Marco Polo, and engage with and support your brothers’ check-ins to facilitate their personal growth.

– Willingness to take on a daily spiritual practice that aligns with your chosen path.

Expected Outcomes

If you consistently do the work, Applied Spirituality, Spiritual Seeking & Mentorship will help you:

– Subordinate your ego and cultivate a deep relationship to whatever higher consciousness/power that you connect to (or wish to discover).

– Be the undaunted man that your Spiritual source wants you to be.

– Live the bold, big life you were put on this earth to live.

– Be bulletproof against the obstacles that life consistently throws our way.

Spiritual development is a path without an end. You will never “arrive”. But you will progress.

Most Applied Spirituality, Spiritual Seeking & Mentorship applicants come from Personal Mastery & Leadership; however, men who have already done substantial spiritual work are encouraged to apply to Applied Spirituality, Spiritual Seeking & Mentorship even if they have not progressed through Personal Mastery & Leadership.
