Led by Mark Johnson. 25+ years guiding men.
Dozens led through this exact experience. Limited to 12 men per summit.
The Silent Summit isn't a workshop.
There's no breakout group, no flip chart, no facilitator with a microphone walking you through exercises.
It's a guided wilderness immersion built around a single question:
What beliefs are running your life — and which ones would you keep if you got to choose again?
You arrive Thursday evening.
You set up your campsite.
You sit by the fire with eleven other men and set an intention.
Then you go quiet.
For the next 48 hours, you don't speak.
You don't read.
You don't write to anyone but yourself.
You eat, walk, sleep, breathe, and pay attention.
What surfaces in that stillness is the entire point.
Thursday | Arrival Caravan in from the meeting point. Set up your private campsite. Gather at the fire. Set your intention. Step into silence.
Friday & Saturday | 48 Hours of Silence No talking. No screens. No input. The first six hours are uncomfortable — your mind keeps reaching for the phone that isn't there. Then something shifts. The noise drops out. The questions you've been outrunning catch up. You finally get to hear what you actually think.
Saturday Evening | Breaking Silence We circle up. Men share what surfaced. Some of it is hard. Most of it is clarifying. You hear yourself say things out loud you didn't know you believed.
Sunday | Integration Before you leave the wilderness, you build the plan. What stays. What goes. What you do Monday. You don't drive home with a journal full of feelings — you drive home with 90-days of support.
Most retreats end at the parking lot.
This one is built so it doesn't.
Every Silent Summit includes:
48 hours of guided silence in the wilderness, with safety and facilitator support throughout
Saturday integration circle with the men who stood beside you
A 90-day integration plan The specific work you'll do once you're home, built before you leave the mountain
30 days of private Marco Polo access with your facilitator and the other men from your summit
A guided integration journal to keep you in practice after the Marco Polo channel closes
You walk out with clarity, a plan, and a new circle of men who watched you find both.
This isn't for everyone.
Specifically: It's for the man who:
Has built a life that mostly works and isn't sure that's enough anymore
Is carrying beliefs, stories, or commitments that may have expired
Can disappear for four days without the wheels coming off
Is ready to hear what he actually thinks — not what he's supposed to think
It's not for the man who:
Is in active crisis (this isn't therapy, and silence will amplify what's already loud)
Wants a vacation, a workshop, or a networking event
Isn't willing to hand over his phone for 96 hours
Would rather complain than understand the active role he plays in his life
If you’re ready to face the man in the mirror and hear what he’s been trying to say, this is your place.
We caravan to a preselected location near Moab, Utah.
Once there:
Each man sets up his private campsite
Equipment and provisions provided by each man (list after enrollment)
24/7 facilitator support and emergency contact access

25+ years as a multi-industry executive and entrepreneur. Working wilderness guide.
Mark's led dozens of men through immersions like this one and
built the Silent Summit around what he learned doing it.
Mark's approach is straightforward: no theatrics, no guru posture, no manufactured intensity.
He sets the container, holds the safety, and gets out of your way so the work can happen.
He'll be your emergency contact, your facilitator, and the man who calls you
on anything you try to talk yourself out of on Sunday morning.
"My life changed forever"
I'd say now with the power of The Undaunted Man I am a completely different person. It's pretty much like having a 360 degree feedback on yourself. - Jason Breton

"Highly recommend this"
“By learning to focus on my state of being, and taking action from that place, my life completely transformed. I am currently in a joyful, fulfilled marriage, and an owner of a successful business. The leaders of Undaunted are truly gifted in their work, and are adept at creating a container of growth unlike any I’ve experienced.”
- Andrew Kiminski

"Formative experience"

The summit will be held on remote public land. Exact location will be determined closer to the retreat date and based on number of registrants.
Activities will begin at 5 PM on Thursday, but it's best to arrive at least a couple of hours early. We usually meet at 2pm to caravan to the park site together.
You will need to arrange your own transportation to the campsite, and carpooling is strongly recommended. We will connect people for carpooling to the best of our ability. High-clearance vehicles are recommended.
You will need to bring your own camping gear and food for three days—bonus points for fasting during the retreat for extra clarity. There's no need to buy gear - borrowed or rented gear from REI, for example, works fine as long as you're comfortable using it before you arrive.
This is a silent summit. All electronics are strictly forbidden. If you don't want the temptation, program facilitators will keep your electronics securely locked up for the duration of the retreat.
Mark Johnson will serve as the emergency contact and coordinator for the retreat. Should you need support or in the unlikely event an emergency arises, he will be there to assist you.
